Ever since I was a young boy I've had political aspirations. My first "election" of sorts was in the 5th grade when my fellow classmates nominated me to be the "Safety Patrol Captain." "Big deal," you might say, but this youthful experience taught me the importance of being an effective leader. After my teenage years time commitments to family, work, and school influenced me to NOT run for public office, yet that stirring thought frequents my mind, "maybe someday." Now that I'm a federal employee I'm prevented from running for partisan political office (due to Hatch Act of 1939). Perhaps as retirement nears I can seriously consider running in partisan elections. In the meantime I created this website as a place where I could share my opinion with others. You may agree with me, and then again you may not. I would love to hear your opinions on these issues, as you and I are always free to express our ideas, and even perhaps change our own minds.
